We aren't even going to give an intro into this. We are just going to get right in there, deep. Here is Joan's morning post. She has given up the syrupy morning walk falseness and love of nature, and just tries to sucker punch the lifeless air that she breathes in her small little mindless bubble of idiocy. Her target? Dustin Barca, and her former friend and neighbor Andy Parks, and anyone who does not support GFMO's, while stating she doesn't support GMO's. Ripping off our style as well. WE LOVE IT! Let the snark pour forth like a diarrhea laced river into the toilet-bowl of all that is Joan Conrow. READ ON KIDS:

This is the whole video produced for his run around the island. You can see most of the launching ceremony. People are staying to the left of the monk seal sign. You can see that the seal is not being run over by the canoe, as the entire launching going into the water is shown. You can also see that there are at least a hundred people there, not only Dustin Barca supporters, but at least several dozen visitors that had no idea what was going on. As you can see, this was locals, local people hand Hawaiians. All who have the utmost respect for Monk seals, including Barca himself.  TO try and put up a 60op second video clip, and say that Barca was "Harassing" a seal, with so many people there as witnesses is sheer stupidity.

Musings: Barc and Bite*   

this title alone, tries to emulate Andy Parx blog style and writing, which Joan took HER blogstyle from, after we took HER blogstyle from, and now she takes OUR blogstyle from. Isn't blogging FUn?

A friend asked me the other day what I thought of Dustin Barca — the surfer/MMA fighter who is challenging Kauai Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. — saying, “He sounds great.”

Yes, his four-pronged message of “sustainable agriculture, cultural revival, kapu on ice and ka wai ola (life-giving water)” does indeed sound ooh here it comes, the SNARK IS RISING great. But though I scoured his website, I found no plans, only platitudes. something like a platypuss only uglierI'm sure most of us would agree that restoring heiau and fishponds, protecting water sources, boosting local food production and especially creating a farm-type setting for drug rehab are great ideas.Really, Joan? You would AGREE to that? LOLZ Yeah, you are such a CHAMPION of HAWAIIANS and HAWAIIAN VALUES!

But as the old saying goes, the devil is in the details, and I've yet to see any details on how all those lofty ideals will actually be implemented. BERNARD DIDN'T HAVE ANY BETTER DETAILS WHEN HE RAN< AND HE RAN ON THE SAME THING!Well, aside from his “vision” for agriculture, as articulated in Flux Hawaii:

His personal farming dreams start with circulatory livestock farming—plots of land being grazed by cattle, rotating to chickens who fertilize the land with their feces, to organic farming the nutrient-rich soil area until it’s time to bring the cattle back.

Just don't try it near Poipu…. Gee, maybe Hawaii Dairy Farms could take him on as a consultant, make all that bad PR go away.Yaah, like Dustin would go and work for him, because he is a sellout, like you, Joan.

Still, it's not just the empty campaign promises Yes, HAWAIIAN VALUES ARE ALWAYS EMPTY PROMISES> THE SAME VALUES THAT BERNARD  STATED WHEN HE FIRST RAN< AND STILL DOES NOWthat concern me. That's typical among politicians, including many who are regularly re-elected. No, what worries me are his other words, the ones where he departs from his carefully crafted script BARCA DOESN'T READ FROM SCRIPTS> UNLIKE JOAN WHO GETS SPOON-FED HER SCRIPT FROM THE BIG CHEM COMPANIES< THE TEA PARTY CRAZIES< AND THE LUNATIC RIGHT WING FRINGEand reveals who he really is, and worse, how little he really knows.SO SHES CALLING HIM A DUMB HAWAIIAN> RACIST MUCH? YEAH THERE IS THE CHAMPION OF THE HAWAIIANS RIGHT THERE> THE TRUE BIGOT IN JOAN IS REALLY COMING OUT NOW

For example, this piece on ESPN.com:

"It's killing the reef. There are a lot of big chemical companies -- such as Dow and Monsanto, among others -- that test in the hills and fields around Kauai, and what we're seeing on the reef at Hanalei, it's no coincidence."

No coincidence? Does anyone in their right mind really believe the chem companies are impacting the reef in Hanalei, which is on the opposite side of the island? And btw, Dustin, Monsanto hasn't been on Kauai for a few years now.MO)MONSANTO MAKES THE CHEMS THAT HAVE POISONED THE NORTH SHORE FOR YEARS> THEY WERE ON KAUA'I BEFORE, BUT THEN BROUGHT IN KEIKI COMPANIES OF THEIRS. JOAN FORGETS TO TELL YOU THAT THE COMPANIES THAT ARE HERE ARE AFFILIATED WITH MONSANTO, AND THAT MONSANTO IS MOST Definitely IN HAWAII. Then there was this weekend's Instagram post, where he's running past Hanapepe Valley, but identifies it as Waimea Canyon. But hey, we'll cut him some slack since he's a North Shore boy. And he's not gonna get the westside vote, anyway. Not while he's riling workers with a video that derides the seed companies as “lazy man's farming," though he's never actually had his ass out in a field all day.JOAN IS A BALD FACED LIAR. DUSTIN HAS BEEN FARMING TARO, AND IN FIELDS FOR A LONG TIME. WE SUGGEST THAT JOAN GET HERSELF IN A FIELD. PERHAPS IT WOULD TEACH HER NOT TO OUT AND OUTRIGHT LIE ABOUT PEOPLE. OH WAIT. JOAN IS A SMARMY CHOCOLATE FILLED WATERBAG WHO LIES AND CAN'T TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT ANYONE. EVEN HERSELF. NOT THE PICTURE OF DUSTIN STANDING IN A FIELD OF TARO. But it was the article in Flux that really raised eyebrows, and I'm not just talking about the part where he dropped out of school in tenth grade (did he ever finish?) and has spent his adult life fighting and surfing. Has he ever had a regular job, the office-kine, like where you show up every day at the Round Building and put in a solid 10 to 15 hours? Is he even working now?JOAN CONROW HAS JUST CALLED DUSTIN BARCA A LAZY STUPID HAWAIIAN UNEDUCATED< AND DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO HOLD DOWN A JOB> HEY JOAN CAN YOU SAY DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER? HOW ABOUT LAWSUIT? HOW ABOUT STFU YOU RACIST DOUCHE.

No, it was this comment:

And therein you see the true essence of the “leadership” behind the anti-GMO movement on Kauai. It's got all the religious fervor, sanctimony and single-minded group think of an evangelical sect wrapped in the angry, reactionary violence of a sore-loser mob quick to throw a punch.and so now you see the true essence of Joan Conrow< and all of her little snarkie fistie minions who populate her blog filled with hate< lies< prejudice< racist rants< comments and innuendos< and slander>

That's the ugliness that repelled me from the get-go, and that I've been railing against ever since.and Joan Conrow is the ugliness that propels us to make many trips to the porcelain god to expel all of that chocolaty goodness that Joan tries to choke down everyone's throat. at least she finally admitted how she really feels< and what she is really doing> railing< frothing at the mouth< and spewing racist hate and bigotry from every orifice possible

And it's not just Dustin and Gary. We see it also in groups like Kauai Rising, which sent out a hit email — with the subject line “Community Alert” no less — denouncing Allan Parachini as a chem company shill because he dared to publish a commentary outlining the many flaws of that asinine charter amendment and speak against it at last week's Council meeting.unlike snark rising> which is just like frothing at the mouth< and chocolaty goodness out of both ends at once>

Blogger Andy Parx — the “voice” of the anti-GMO movement who tellingly self-declares as “rabid" — quickly piled on, trying to cast aspersions on Allan because he previously suffered from depression. Never mind that Andy is himself disabled. Because empathy and compassion have no place in this movement.andy parx was at one timeJoans neighbor and close friend> when Joan and he had a falling out over the issues< Joan began eviscerating him on her blog> Joan uses every minute to rage against andy parx and make fun of his disabilities< and state that he is a HUD recipient< ect> but Joan pretends to care  ABOUT HOUSING ISSUES ON KAUAI< AND THE DISABLED> WHEN IT SUITS HER RABID FROTHING AT THE MOUTH BIGOTED RACIST HATE FILLED AGENDA> PEOPLE THAT TURN ON PEOPLE THAT WERE ONCE FRIENDS AND USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO RIP THEM A NEW HOLE FOR BEING DISABLED< AND THEN TURN AROUND AND GET PISSED AT THEM FOR NOT AGREEING WITH ANOTHER DISABLED PERSON IS a lunatic fringe nut-ball that no one should ever take seriously Joan Conrow is a person who accepts blog donations on her blog without revealing who the non profit is.WHATS UP WITH THAT JOAN/

The goal is to simply smear and silence anyone who dares to express an opinion contrary to group think, so that no one speaks up anymore. As in Twilight Zone's "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street." attempting to connect the movement and individual to threats of intimidation is a serious accusation

All the while coating the slime in syrup, like the “Please keep on shining” and “blessings” that Kauai Rising's Michael Shooltz used to close his hit piece.hit peices are what others do> joan doesnt write hit peices< like< oh say>>>this blogpost(JOANS NOT OURS). We are just snarkists. :D

But no, we're not a divided island, it's all aloha here, the movement is couched in peace and love and Dustin and Gary are gonna save us from the big bad chem companies — while racking up ego-feeding national press clippings for themselves.yeah Joan fuck that peace< love< aloha and saving people from the chem companies> right< gotcha>Joan likes violence< race baiting< raced smearing< bigotry< racial profiling< personal attacks< and smearing the credibility of individuals if they dare speak out against anything or anyone even remotely related to the chem companies< conservative tea party values or Joan personally> and lets not forget slander and hate-speech too> that's what Joan wants to see< and lots of it> oh the deep bowl of chocolaty goodness is so very very very deep!
